Camp Gan Israel Wilkes-Barre — Swimming & Water Activity Waiver
Effective for Summer 2026
By registering my child for Camp Gan Israel Wilkes-Barre ("Camp"), I acknowledge and agree to the following regarding my child's participation in swimming and water-related activities ("Water Activities") conducted under Camp supervision.
Assumption of risk
I understand that Water Activities are inherently dangerous and carry risks including, but not limited to, serious injury or death. I voluntarily assume all such risks on behalf of my child.
Release and waiver of liability
I release, waive, and forever discharge Camp Gan Israel Wilkes-Barre, its directors, officers, staff, volunteers, agents, and the owners of any property on which Water Activities take place ("Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from my child's participation in Water Activities, including claims arising from the negligence or other conduct of the Released Parties.
Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any loss, liability, damage, or cost of any kind that may arise as a result of my child's participation in Water Activities.
Covenant not to sue
I agree not to bring any legal action or claim against the Released Parties for any injury, illness, or death arising from my child's participation in Water Activities.
Parental consent
I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the child being registered and have the authority to execute this waiver on their behalf. I understand that by accepting this waiver during registration, I am agreeing to be legally bound by its terms.
Camp Gan Israel Wilkes-Barre — Trips & Off-Site Activity Waiver
Effective for Summer 2026
By registering my child for Camp Gan Israel Wilkes-Barre ("Camp"), I acknowledge and agree to the following regarding my child's participation in field trips, excursions, and off-site activities ("Trips") organized by Camp.
Assumption of risk
I understand that Trips may involve transportation, outdoor activities, and visits to third-party facilities, each of which carry inherent risks including, but not limited to, serious injury or death. I voluntarily assume all such risks on behalf of my child.
Release and waiver of liability
I release, waive, and forever discharge Camp Gan Israel Wilkes-Barre, its directors, officers, staff, volunteers, agents, and the owners or operators of any venues, vehicles, or facilities used during Trips ("Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from my child's participation in Trips, including claims arising from the negligence or other conduct of the Released Parties.
Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any loss, liability, damage, or cost of any kind that may arise as a result of my child's participation in Trips.

Transportation consent
I authorize Camp to transport my child by bus, van, or other motor vehicle to and from Trip locations. I understand that Camp will exercise reasonable care in arranging transportation but cannot guarantee against all risks associated with travel.
Parental consent

Camp Gan Israel Wilkes-Barre — Medical Authorization & Sunscreen Permission
Effective for Summer 2026
By registering my child for Camp Gan Israel Wilkes-Barre ("Camp"), I authorize the following:
Emergency medical treatment
In the event of a medical emergency involving my child, I authorize Camp staff to seek and consent to emergency medical treatment, including but not limited to first aid, ambulance transport, hospitalization, and emergency surgery, if I or my designated emergency contacts cannot be reached in a timely manner. I understand that Camp will make every reasonable effort to contact me before authorizing non-emergency medical care.
Sunscreen administration
I authorize Camp staff to apply sunscreen (non-prescription, broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher) to my child as needed before outdoor activities throughout the camp season. Refrigeration is not required.
If my child has a known allergy or sensitivity to sunscreen or any of its ingredients, I have noted this in the medical information section of my child's registration form.
Liability
I release Camp Gan Israel Wilkes-Barre, its directors, officers, staff, and volunteers from any liability arising from the administration of sunscreen or the provision of emergency medical treatment as authorized above, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Parental consent
I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the child being registered and have the authority to provide these authorizations on their behalf.
Camp Gan Israel Wilkes-Barre — Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective for Summer 2026
The following cancellation and refund policy applies to all registrations for Camp Gan Israel Wilkes-Barre.
Registration fee
A $45.00 non-refundable registration fee is charged at the time of registration. This fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
Cancellations before June 9, 2026
Full and partial cancellations made on or before June 9, 2026 will be fully refunded, less the $45.00 non-refundable registration fee. Any bank processing fees incurred will be deducted from the refund amount.
Cancellations from June 10 – June 24, 2026
Cancellations made between June 10, 2026 and June 24, 2026 will be subject to a 5% cancellation fee applied to the total tuition amount. The $45.00 registration fee remains non-refundable. Any bank processing fees incurred will be deducted from the refund amount.
Cancellations after June 25, 2026
No refunds will be issued for cancellations, withdrawals, or dismissals (including dismissals for behavioral reasons) made on or after June 25, 2026.
How to request a cancellation
To cancel a registration, please contact the camp office directly. Cancellation requests are processed based on the date the request is received by the camp office.
